I have always gained much satisfaction from passing on what I have learned through my many years as a maker to those wanting to learn. I have, thus far, taught four eager learners who have since gone on to make a living from making high quality classical guitars.

That desire to share my knowledge has grown with the years and I am preparing tuition courses throughout the year.

I will be offering tuition to serious students who will already have had some experience with making guitars, either under their own experience or having already been taught at a college or alongside a maker.

I propose to go through all of the making process over a four or five week period where the student will follow my process of making as I demonstrate each step.

This probably will not allow time to include the polishing; that may be for a separate course.

As well as the making process I will be explaining all facets of running a business: funding, publicity, buying materials etc etc.
