I was fortunate to have been able to study many Hauser Guitars over the years and I feel I have been able to learn enough to produce guitars with very much of the same character. I generally base my design on a Hauser II from the 1940s.
I was privileged to be asked by Miles Robert of Kent Guitar Classics to fully restore a 1929 Santos Hernandez. I took the opportunity to record every detail of this guitar and have made several replicas. I have also made guitars based on the 1912 Ramirez that was known to have been the work of Santos Hernandez.
